What it actually is

A fine vertical rib. The ribbing is what gives the knit its stretch across the body and its pull back to shape — the structure does that work, not a coating or a finish.
A wide, bound scoop neckline. The neck edge is finished with a bound band rather than left raw, so it lies flat instead of curling after a wash.
Medium‑width straps. Broad enough to sit on the shoulder without cutting in, narrow enough to stay out of the way under a shirt.
A straight, hip‑length body. Long enough to tuck into a high waist, short enough to leave out over jeans without swamping you.

About the fabric, honestly. Our supplier gives the material as “polyester” and nothing more. That is not a complete fiber disclosure — federal textile rules ask for each fiber as a percentage by weight — and we have not been able to verify it independently, so we are repeating it as their statement rather than presenting it as a checked fact. We have asked for a full breakdown in writing and we will publish it here when we have it. If a specific fiber matters to you for an allergy or a sensitivity, please write to us before you order rather than relying on that one word.

Sizing: what we can and cannot tell you

The tank comes in Small, Medium and Large. We have no body‑measurement chart from our supplier, and we are not going to publish a made‑up one. We would rather you knew that before you order than after.

This listing used to carry a single pair of measurements presented as the size. We took it down. One pair of numbers cannot describe three different sizes, and the supplier never stated what they were measuring — garment length and flat width, one particular size, or the packaging it ships in. We would rather show you nothing there than a number we cannot explain. If you are between sizes in fitted knits, take the larger one.

Looking after it

No care label came with this garment, so treat the following as our conservative advice for a fine rib knit rather than as manufacturer instructions:

Wash cold on a gentle cycle, with like colors.
Hang or lay flat to dry. Skip the tumble dryer — heat is what makes a rib knit go slack.
Do not bleach. Iron cool if you iron it at all.
