Two-way mirror acrylic

A mirror from the bright side, a window from the dark side

Two-way mirror acrylic reflects like a mirror from whichever side has more light, and lets you see through from the darker side. Makers use these sheets as the front panel of infinity mirrors, smart mirrors and light-box displays.

Each sheet arrives with protective film on both faces. Frames, LED strips, screens and mounting hardware are not included.

How it works

Light decides what you see

Bright side reflects

On the side facing more light, the sheet looks and works like a mirror.

Dark side shows through

From the darker side you can see through it, and a light placed behind it glows through.

Keep the back dark

Keep the space behind the sheet darker than the room in front, and it reads as a mirror.

Before you buy

What to know

Sheets only. No frame, LEDs, screen, backing or mounting hardware in the package.
Peel both films. Remove the protective film from each face before use; the effect is hidden until you do.
Mount it flat. A thin acrylic sheet can flex, so fix it to a rigid frame or backing to keep the reflection true.
Lighting matters. The see-through effect needs one side darker than the other. In even light on both sides it looks like a dim mirror.
Handle with care. Acrylic scratches more easily than glass. Clean it with a soft cloth and mild soapy water.
