One spring, four exercises
The inner thigh is one of the hardest places to load without a machine. This is the simplest answer there is: a steel spring between two padded arms that you squeeze, from wherever you happen to be sitting.
It is not only for thighs. The same spring works arms, triceps, chest and shoulders depending on where you put it — which is what makes a single cheap object worth keeping.
Move it, and it works something else
Between the knees it loads the inner thighs. Outside the legs, pushing out, it loads the outer thighs and hips. Held in both hands in front of the chest it becomes a chest and shoulder press. Tucked against one side it works a triceps. Same object, four movements, no attachments.
Foam where your skin is, steel where the work is
The arms are covered in sweat-absorbent foam, which matters more than it sounds — a bare metal bar squeezed between the knees for three sets is genuinely unpleasant. The spring itself is steel and holds its tension rather than going soft after a few weeks.
Where to put it
All four positions, and what each one actually loads.
Two honest notes
The resistance is fixed. One spring, one tension, no dial — so you progress by adding reps and slowing the movement down rather than by adding load. Let the arms open slowly under control; letting the spring snap back does nothing for you.
And working a muscle does not burn fat from the skin above it. This builds and tones the muscles you use it on; where your body loses fat is decided elsewhere. Worth saying, because this whole product category tends not to.
Four colours
Purple, green, blue or pink-and-blue. It is small enough to live behind a sofa cushion or in a desk drawer, which is really the argument for it — equipment you can see gets used.
