Shade you pull on, and then forget
Most arm sleeves are compression sleeves. Cut narrow, gripping the whole way up, and hot by the second hour. These are the other thing entirely.
The tube between the two elasticated ends is cut much wider than your arm. It hangs off the skin instead of squeezing it, so air sits in the gap and moves as you do. The elastic at the top and at the wrist is there to hold the sleeve in place, not to compress anything in between. That is the whole design, and it is the reason people who gave up on tight sleeves keep these on all day.
What turns up
- A pair. Two sleeves, mirrored left and right, in a single order.
- Wrist to the upper arm. About 17.3 in (44 cm) from the cuff to the top opening, so the top sits under a short t-shirt sleeve.
- Your choice of coverage. One version stops at the wrist. The other carries on over the back of the hand with a thumbhole, leaving all five fingers free to grip, type, cast or shift.
- A fine polyester knit with a pinhole mesh texture you can see up close, and a denser, smoother panel at the cuff.
- Elastic at both ends. A gathered casing at the top, a second at the wrist, then a short flat cuff panel below it that lies against the arm.
- Four colors. White, Gray, Dark Gray and Black.

A sun rating on cloth is a measured thing. It comes out of a laboratory test run on that exact fabric, and it belongs on a label only once somebody has actually run it. We hold no test report for this knit. So you will not find a rating figure anywhere on this page, and you should be wary of any cheap sleeve that hands you one without saying who tested it.
What we can tell you is physical, and you can see it in the photographs. This is opaque polyester and it covers your arm from the wrist to the upper arm. Skin under fabric is not in direct sun. For most people buying a sleeve for a commute, a round of golf or a long drive south, that is the part that actually matters.
This page used to describe the fabric's performance in terms we cannot document. That wording has been removed. The product itself is unchanged and is the same item it always was.
Will they fit your arms?
Both openings below are quoted flat and unstretched, which is how they were measured. Double a figure to get the measurement around your arm. The knit then stretches on top of that.
The top opening is the limiting measurement, not the length. It is elasticated and meant to grip lightly at the upper arm. If your upper arm is a good way past 10.2 in around, the elastic will be working hard and you may prefer something cut for a bigger build. The body of the sleeve in between is far wider than either end, which is where the loose fit comes from.

And who they are not for
They are not compression sleeves. If you want graduated pressure for recovery or joint support, this is the wrong product and you should buy a real one. They are not cut resistant, not heat resistant, and not protective equipment of any kind, so keep them away from blades, sparks and machinery. They are not sized for children.
