High-elastic fabric, no bounce

Stretch fabric conforms to the shape of your arm rather than sitting on it as a rigid band. That is what stops the slow migration down towards the elbow that makes most armbands annoying by the second mile. It is one size and it gives a long way, so it suits a wide range of arms and stays put through sprints and lifting, and the knit is soft enough to hold firmly without the chafe of a band tight enough to grip but too coarse to wear.

Sweat-resistant, not waterproof

This is athletic knit, not a sealed case. It handles a sweaty session and washes out afterwards, and a snug pocket keeps the handset off the floor and out of your hand where most screens get broken. What it is not is a barrier: the pocket is open at the top, the fabric is not sealed, and it should not be treated as protection from rain or water. Do not swim in it.

Will my phone fit?

It is a stretch pocket rather than a moulded case, so it takes the phone and gives around it. Most handsets slide straight in. A large-format phone sits deep enough to be secure with its top edge standing proud of the opening, which is what the photographs show — that is normal, not a fault.

Does it fit over a phone case?

Slim cases are generally fine. Bulky rugged cases and grip attachments eat into the pocket quickly and are the combination most likely to be a squeeze.

Can I use the screen with it on?

Not through the fabric — there is no clear touch-through window, and the phone normally goes in with the screen against the sleeve. Because the pocket is open at the top, you slide the phone out, use it, and drop it back in without taking the band off.

Is it waterproof?

No. It resists sweat and dust during a workout, which is what it is designed for. It is not a waterproof case and should not be relied on in heavy rain or water.

Will it fit my arm?

It comes in one size and the high-elastic knit gives a long way, which suits a wide range of arms. Worn correctly it sits high on the upper arm, above the elbow — a band worn low will work its way down no matter how well it fits.
