Sleep mask with speakers inside
A soft eye mask with two flat speakers and a battery tucked into the band
It pairs to your phone like a wireless headphone, so you can fall asleep to music, a podcast or white noise without earbuds pressing into your ear canal. The speakers are flat panels that sit in the side band over your ears, and there is nothing sticking out for a pillow to shove.
Two things make it worth owning over a plain mask plus earbuds: you can lie on your side without a hard object in your ear, and the whole thing is one item to pack. Everything below is what we can actually confirm about it, including a battery figure this page used to state incorrectly.
What is actually inside it
It lifts out
The electronics are a small plastic module on a short lead that sits in a pocket in the band. You can pull it out and the mask goes flat and empty. We filmed this ourselves.
Two flat panels
Not earbuds. Two thin speaker pads on wires sit inside the wide side band, roughly over each ear. Nothing enters your ear and nothing presses in when you lie on it.
Three printed buttons
Minus, play or pause, and plus, printed on the front of the left eye cup so you can find them without looking. That is the whole interface.
A correction, up front
The battery figure this page used to give was wrong
The description that stood here quoted a run time considerably higher than the number the supplier itself publishes. The supplier's own specification sheet for this mask states roughly two hours to charge and around ten hours of playback. Ten hours is what we now say, because ten hours is what we were told.
It is still enough for a night, which is the only thing most people need it to do. But an inflated number on a rechargeable product is exactly the kind of thing that turns into a return, and we would rather give you the smaller figure and be right.
Bluetooth version is given by the supplier as 5.2. We are passing that on as their figure. We do not hold a qualification record or a declaration number for this unit and we have not tested the radio ourselves.
Straight answers
What we do not know about the battery, and how we would treat it
There is a rechargeable cell in this mask and the supplier documentation does not say what kind. We have no cell chemistry, no capacity, no statement about a protection circuit, no transport test declaration, and no printed charging warnings in the box. We asked the product data every way it can be asked and those fields simply are not there.
That is not us telling you it is dangerous. It is us telling you we cannot vouch for it, on an item you wear on your head while you are asleep. So here is how we would handle any small rechargeable device with no paperwork behind it, and we think it is worth two lines of your time:
Charge it somewhere you can see it, on a hard surface, while you are awake. Not under a pillow, not in the bed, not overnight unattended. If it ever gets hot, swells, or smells odd while charging, unplug it and stop using it. Charge it from a normal phone charger rather than the highest-wattage brick you own.
One more thing you should know before it arrives: the printed label on the control panel is not consistent across the photography we received. Some supplier shots show one wording on that little badge and our own footage of a unit shows another. We do not know which one you will get, and we have asked.
Wearing it, and washing it
Set the strap first
The back strap adjusts and then stays put. Get it snug enough that the eye cups seal against your brow and cheek, but not tight enough to press.
Line the speakers up
Slide the band until each flat speaker sits roughly over an ear. Being a little off is the usual reason someone thinks it is quiet.
Take the module out
Before it goes anywhere near water, unplug and remove the electronics module from its pocket. We have no washing instruction from the supplier, so we are not going to invent one.
All four figures are the supplier's. Nobody here has measured a unit or timed the battery. The supplier's package contents list the mask on its own and do not list a charging cable, so plan on using one you already own. The supplier's only material line is ice silk cotton; an earlier version of this page named a cushioning material that appears nowhere in the supplier data, and it has been removed.
A mask you can lie on with sound in it
That is the honest version of the pitch. Flat speakers instead of earbuds, a module that lifts out, about ten hours on a charge, and a page that tells you which numbers came from us and which came from a supplier we cannot audit.
