What this actually is
A powered cold plate you strap where you want it
Underneath the marketing language, this is a simple machine. A metal contact plate is chilled electrically, held inside a plastic housing, and pressed against one spot on your body by an elastic belt. You plug it in, choose thirty or sixty minutes, and it gets cold. That is the whole device.
We would rather tell you that plainly than sell you a mechanism. Cold feels good on a sore back after a long day, on your legs in a hot room, on a spot that feels hot and tight after training. If that is what you want, this delivers it hands-free and repeatably, which is more than a bag of frozen peas can say.
How it makes cold
Electric cooling, not ice and not chemicals
There is no ice, no gel and nothing to refill or refreeze. A solid-state cooling element sits behind the contact plate and moves heat from the front face to the back, where a vented rear panel sheds it. That is why the housing is perforated on both sides, and why the back of the unit gets warm while the front gets cold.
Half-hour setting
One touch button starts a thirty-minute session and ends it on its own.
Hour setting
A second button runs a longer session for the same reason: so you are not the timer.
Stop any time
A third button ends the session immediately, whatever the timer is doing.
The three touch controls sit on the green panel along the edge of the housing. There is no display, no app and no temperature dial — the plate runs at one setting and the buttons only choose how long.
Living with it
It stays plugged in while you use it
This is worth knowing before you buy, because the product name suggests otherwise. The unit runs from a wall power adapter — a desktop brick with a detachable power cord — that connects to a barrel socket on the side of the housing. There is no internal battery. It is portable in the sense that it is small and packs easily, not in the sense that you can walk around the block with it.
In practice that means you use it sitting down, near an outlet. The belt is a wide elastic band that threads through two slots in the housing frame and holds the plate against you, so your hands stay free for a book or a laptop.
Before you buy
What we do not claim this does
This page used to be written as a body-shaping product. We have taken that language off, and we want to be direct about why rather than quietly reword it.
- We make no fat-reduction, body-contouring, cellulite or weight-loss claim for this device, and you should not buy it expecting one. In the United States, devices sold to reduce fat by cooling it are regulated by the FDA as prescription-use devices. This is not one of them, it is not FDA-cleared, and the FDA's own guidance states that the safety and effectiveness of over-the-counter or home fat-freezing has not been established.
- We make no medical or therapeutic claim either. It is not a treatment for any condition, injury or disease. If you are managing a real injury, ask a clinician what to apply and for how long — not a product page.
- Cold applied to skin is a comfort effect, and it is temporary. Skin feels cool, then it feels normal again. That is what this device is for and all it is being sold as.
We would rather lose the sale than have you buy this for a result it will not produce.
Use it safely
Cold on skin is not automatically harmless
Prolonged contact between skin and a cold surface can cause injury, including cold burns and inflammation of the fat layer under the skin. Those are recognized outcomes of long cold exposure, not scare copy, and they are the reason this device has session timers at all.
Keep a layer between the plate and bare skin. A thin cloth or a T-shirt is enough, and it is the single most useful habit here.
Check the skin under it. Lift the unit periodically and look. Numbness, whiteness, blotchy redness or pain means stop and take it off.
Do not sleep in it. The timer ends the session; it does not watch your skin. Stay awake and stay aware while it is on.
- Do not use it over broken, irritated or numb skin, or anywhere you cannot reliably feel temperature.
- Ask a doctor first if you have circulation problems, nerve damage or reduced sensation, diabetes, Raynaud's, cold urticaria or cryoglobulinemia, or if you are pregnant.
- Keep it away from children and from anyone who cannot tell you that something hurts.
- Leave the vents clear. The rear panel sheds heat; covering it under a blanket or a cushion stops it working and lets it run hot.

Choose the plug type that matches your outlets at checkout. We have deliberately left figures we cannot verify against supplier documentation off this page — contact-plate temperature and unit dimensions among them — rather than repeat numbers we have not confirmed.
