A winter lining for the clogs you already own

This is a pair of soft slip-in liners, shaped like a low slipper, that sit inside a Crocs-style clog. The inside is deep plush pile, a thick fluffy cuff rolls over the clog's top edge, and the outside is a smooth fabric so the liner slides into the clog and stays flat under your foot. Take them out when the weather turns, or when they need a wash.

You are buying the liners only. The clogs in the photographs are there to show how the liners sit and are not included. This product is not made by or connected with Crocs, Inc.; "Crocs" is their trademark and is used here only to describe the type of clog these fit.

How it is built

Three parts, one job

Pile

Plush inside

A deep fluffy pile lines the whole footbed and the walls of the liner, and rolls over into the cuff you see above the clog's edge.

Skin

Smooth outside

The outer body and sole are a smooth, thin fabric so the liner slides into a clog without bunching and does not add height under the heel.

Stud

Press-stud on the side

A small round stud sits on the outer side of each liner, where the clog's strap rivet is. It is there to help the liner keep its place in the clog.

Our supplier lists the fabric simply as cotton and gives no fibre breakdown for the pile, so this page does not call it wool, fleece, velvet or fur. It is a soft synthetic-feeling plush; treat it as such when you wash it.

Sizing, plainly

The size you pick is the EU size of the clog the liner goes into, not your foot length. Sizes run EU 34 to 42 in single sizes. Check the EU number printed on your clog or its box and choose that number; if your clog is marked with a two-size band, choose the larger number.

A liner is a snug fit by design: the first wear is tighter and it settles with use. If you are between clog sizes, the larger liner is the safer choice.

Where it earns its keep

Cold floors, the school run, the bins

Clogs are the shoe by the door for a reason. With the liner in, they stay the shoe by the door through winter: tiled kitchen floors, the dash to the car, a dog walk on a frosty morning. When it warms up, pull the liners out and the clogs go back to being summer shoes.

Looking after them

Take them out

Hold the cuff and lift. The stud lets go and the liner comes straight out of the clog.

Wash cool by hand

No care label is supplied, so we suggest a cool hand-wash with a little mild detergent, squeezed rather than wrung.

Air-dry flat

Reshape the cuff and dry away from radiators and direct heat. Do not tumble-dry.

What this page will not tell you

Not a Crocs product. These are generic liners made to fit Crocs-style clogs. Crocs, Inc. has nothing to do with them, and no clog is included.
No support claims. This is a soft fabric liner. It adds warmth and a plush feel; it does not change how the clog carries your foot.
No fibre content. The supplier lists cotton and nothing more, so we do not name the pile fibre or call it fur, fleece or velvet.
No US sizing. Sizes are EU clog sizes and we have not been given a conversion chart. Use the EU number on your clog.
Cream is an off-white. The supplier's photographs show an off-white liner and that is what arrives; it was listed as Beige before this page was rebuilt. Black is black.
Fit varies by clog. Clog shapes differ between makers. A liner sized to the clog's EU size should sit flat in a standard-shape clog; a slim or narrow clog will feel snugger.
