This is not a zipped-up box you post your pet into. It is a soft mesh carrier you wear like a vest — four leg openings for their paws, an open collar for their head, and both of your hands free.
Small dogs and cats stop walking long before you do. On a long day out, at the vet, through an airport terminal, on hot pavement, or anywhere a nervous animal would rather be held than set down, you end up carrying them in your arms. This carrier takes that weight off your arms and puts it on your shoulders, and lets your pet keep watching everything that is going on.
How it is worn
Legs out, head up
Your pet sits upright against your chest with their front and back legs through four soft bound openings and their head out of a gathered elastic collar. Nothing is zipped over their face. They can see you, smell the air and turn their head, which is why anxious animals usually settle into this style of carrier faster than they settle into a closed box.
The straps adjust at both shoulders and a webbing strap buckles across to stop the carrier swinging as you walk. Wear it on your front, where most people want their pet, or turn it around and wear it on your back.
- Both hands back. Your pet's weight sits on your shoulders and across your chest instead of hanging off one arm, so you can carry a lead, a bag, a coffee or a door handle.
- Open honeycomb mesh front. The whole front panel is a thick three-dimensional spacer mesh — an open outer layer over a soft inner one — so air moves through it rather than sitting trapped against your pet.
- Zips down both sides. Draw a side zip and the carrier opens out flat, so you can settle a reluctant cat in sideways instead of posting them down through a narrow hole.
- Soft bound leg openings. Every one of the four openings is finished with rolled binding tape rather than a raw cut edge, so nothing hard sits against your pet's legs.
- Padded adjustable shoulder straps. Both straps run through ladder-lock sliders, so you can set the height for you and re-set it for someone else in the house.
- Internal leash attachment. The manufacturer specifies a clip inside to attach to your pet's own collar or harness, as a second line of defence if they try to push out of the top.
- Seven colours, four sizes. Light Coffee, Black, Red, Blue, Pink, Camouflage and Denim, each sized by your pet's weight.

Three steps, and most of it is patience
Open a side
Unzip one side panel and lay the carrier open on a chair or the floor, collar end up.
Legs through
Sit your pet in, feed the front two legs through the upper openings and the back two through the lower ones, then draw the collar up around their chest.
Zip and fit
Close the side zip, clip the internal attachment to their harness, put it on and pull both shoulder straps down until the carrier sits snug and does not swing.
First-timers rarely love it. Let them sit in it indoors for a couple of minutes with a treat before you take it anywhere.

Back length is measured on your pet, from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. The carrier panel figure is the front panel's width and height as the manufacturer states it — there is no published depth measurement, so treat it as panel size rather than internal volume. Every figure above is the manufacturer's, converted to inches and pounds; none has been measured on a sample here.

What this carrier is not
Not an airline carrier
Your pet's head and legs are outside it. It does not meet in-cabin containment rules and we make no airline claim for it.
Not for a big dog
The largest size is rated to 19.8 lb (9 kg). A Labrador, a spaniel or a mid-size rescue is out of scope, whatever the photographs on other listings suggest.
Not a rigid crate
It is a soft fabric vest with no frame and no floor board. It supports your pet against your body; it does not stand up on its own.
Materials and care
Mesh, webbing and a smooth woven shell
The front panel and the base are breathable honeycomb spacer mesh. The sides, back and top flap are a smooth woven shell with a coil zip down each side, small mesh vents at the lower corners, flat webbing straps and plastic hardware.
The manufacturer describes the carrier as durable and washable. We would wash it by hand in cool water and let it air dry rather than putting it through a machine or a tumble dryer — nothing about a mesh panel and webbing straps enjoys a hot cycle.
Questions people ask first
How do I know which size to order?
By weight. Weigh your pet, then pick the size rated at or above that figure: S to 5.5 lb, M to 7.7 lb, L to 14.3 lb, XL to 19.8 lb. The back-length column in the chart is a useful cross-check for a long-bodied pet such as a dachshund. Between two sizes, size up.
Can I take it on a plane?
Not as an in-cabin carrier. Your pet's head and all four legs sit outside the carrier, so it does not meet airline containment requirements. It is useful for getting through a terminal, but you will need an approved enclosed carrier for the flight itself. We make no airline-approval claim.
Will my cat tolerate it?
Some take to it immediately and some never do. It helps that their head is out and they can see you. Open a side zip so they walk in sideways rather than being lowered in from above, and give them a few short sessions indoors before the first real outing.
Can I wear it on my back?
Yes. The straps are symmetrical and the manufacturer specifies front or back wear. Most owners use it on the front, where they can see the animal and the animal can see them.
Is it padded?
The shoulder straps are padded, and the mesh panel is a cushioned three-dimensional spacer fabric rather than a flat sheet. There is no padded floor or lined interior, and we are not going to claim one.
Can my pet get out of it?
The collar draws in around their chest and the manufacturer specifies an internal attachment point for clipping to your pet's collar or harness. Use it. A determined cat can push against an open collar, and that clip is the thing standing between a startled animal and the pavement.
What are the exact internal dimensions?
The manufacturer publishes the front panel as a width and height per size and does not publish a depth, so an internal volume figure does not exist for this carrier. We have not measured a sample, and we would rather say that than print a number we cannot stand behind. Choose on weight and back length.
