Mortar and grout gun for your drill
Your drill does the pushing
A steel funnel hopper and spiral auger that turn your own drill into a mortar and grout gun. Load mortar into the hopper, run the drill, and the auger feeds a steady bead out through the nozzle and into the joint.
Use it for pointing brick and stone, filling paving joints, grouting tile and closing gaps around door and window frames. It has no motor or battery of its own, and no drill comes in the box.
Before you order
Three things to know
Bring your own drill
The round drive shaft at the back fits into a drill chuck. A variable-speed drill lets you match the auger speed to your mix. Drill not included.
Mix it to flow
Mortar or grout has to be loose enough to slide down the hopper and feed through the auger. A very stiff mix can stall it; add a little water.
Clean it straight away
Unscrew the nozzle and flush the hopper, barrel and auger with water before the mortar starts to set.
Setup
Running in three steps
Fit it
Screw the side handle in under the barrel and a nozzle onto the front.
Chuck it
Tighten the drive shaft firmly in your drill's chuck.
Load and run
Fill the hopper, run the drill slowly and guide the nozzle along the joint.
If mortar backs up in the hopper instead of flowing out of the nozzle, switch the drill's direction.
Four nozzles
Match the nozzle to the joint
All four screw onto the front of the barrel. Use the flat slot for wide, flat joints, the wide round nozzle for large gaps, and the two cones for narrower brick and tile joints.
