The handle is the entire point

This Shaver has a long foldable plastic handle that allows you to do the shaving by yourself and reach the areas of your back where you mostly can't using a regular razor or trimmer before. Extended and locked, the tool runs about the length of an adult forearm, which is the difference between "I can nearly get there" and "it lies flat on the skin".

It comes with an ergonomically-designed handle and special blade that won't hurt your skin. Plus, it's comfortable, lightweight and easy-to-use.

Grip it over your shoulder and the head sits between your shoulder blades. Grip it underhand from below and the same handle covers your lower back and your flank. The handle end is a smooth rounded knob rather than a flat stub, so a wet hand has something to hold onto and the tool does not want to twist as you pull.

What "two head blade" actually means

The head carries two parallel cutting strips, set one behind the other, each with a row of fine comb teeth in front of it. One pull covers a wide band of skin and both strips work on it, so this has a wide two-head blade that can quickly cover back areas and remove your body hair with fewer passes than a narrow face razor over the same ground.

The handle hinges where it meets the head and folds right back against it, collapsing the whole tool to barely longer than the head itself. Using it safely

Sensible practice with any blade against skin, and worth reading once before the first use:

• Check the blade head is properly seated and the handle collar is locked before every use.
• Replace a blade head as soon as it feels dull or drags — a dull blade is the one that pulls.
• Do not run it over moles, skin tags, spots, sunburn, broken or already irritated skin.
• Let the weight of the head do the work. Pressing harder does not shave closer.
• Rinse the head under running water after use and let it dry fully before folding it away.
• Keep it out of reach of children, and do not share it with anyone else.

Does it need charging or batteries?

No. It is completely manual. There is nothing to charge, nothing to switch on and nothing to break down electrically.

Can I really do my whole back on my own?

That is what the handle is for. Between an overhand grip over the shoulder and an underhand grip from below, the head reaches the upper back, the shoulder blades, the lower back and the flanks without anyone else in the room.

Can I use it on my chest, arms or shoulders?

Yes. It is a razor with a wide head, so it works anywhere you would use a razor over a broad flat area. Fold the handle back for close work you can already see.

What happens when the blades go dull?

Buy the “Replacement Blade Heads only” option and fit fresh ones. The handle and yoke are the durable part of the tool.

Is it safe to use in the shower?

Yes, it is made for wet or dry use. Rinse it and dry it afterwards rather than leaving it sitting wet.
