It draws hairs, not a line
First, the thing the old version of this page got wrong: this is not a pencil. There is no wood, no lead and nothing to sharpen. It is a small liquid pen - a squat champagne-gold barrel of tinted liquid with a cap on top - and the tip is the whole point of it.
That tip is a small flat nib split into several fine separate prongs, like the teeth of a very small comb. Drag it once and it lays down several thin, feathered strokes side by side instead of one solid mark. That is why a brow filled in with this looks like brow hairs rather than like a shaded-in shape.
It is the difference between drawing an eyebrow and drawing the hairs in one. Short flicks at the sparse inner end, longer strokes through the arch, and you stop when it looks like your own brow.
How to use it without overdoing it
Take the cap off, hold the pen close to the nib for control, and work in the direction your hairs already grow - up and outward at the inner end, then following the arch towards the tail.
Use light, short flicks rather than one continuous line. The prongs do the work; pressing harder does not make it neater, it just floods the strokes together into a block, which is exactly the look you bought this to avoid.
Build it up in two or three light passes and let each one dry for a few seconds. Once it is dry it stops moving, so fix any wobble while it is still wet - a cotton bud will lift it cleanly in the first few seconds.
How long it lasts - the honest version
The maker prints "24H long lasting" on the barrel, and that is the maker's claim rather than a tested figure we can show you. What we can say from the formula's behaviour is that it is a quick-drying, long-wear liquid that is water-resistant once it has set: it will hold through a warm day, a workout and a rain shower far better than a soft powder pencil.
What we are not going to tell you is that it is completely waterproof, that it will not budge, or that you can swim in it. There is no wear-test or water-resistance test data behind this product, and any brow product will eventually give way to oil, heavy rubbing or a long soak. It is designed to be removed, and it comes off with an oil-based or micellar remover rather than water alone.
Treat it as a long-wear brow pen that survives a normal day and needs remover at the end of it. That is a fair description, and it is the one this page is going to hold to.
The three shades, described rather than named
The shade names are the maker's, and names like these are not a reliable guide to a color. Here is what each one is:
- Cold Coffee - the cool one. A brown with a grey undertone rather than a red or golden one, which is what you want if your hair is ash, cool brown or black.
- Rich Taupe - the lightest of the three. A soft, warm mid-brown, and the most generally wearable on light to medium brown brows.
- Dark Chocolate - the deepest warm brown. Same warm family as Rich Taupe, a step darker.
Now the caveat, because it matters more than the descriptions do. We do not have a color-accurate swatch from the maker. The only shade reference that exists is the maker's own marketing artwork, and in it Rich Taupe and Dark Chocolate come out very close to one another - much closer than the names suggest.
So treat the shade images on this page as indicative rather than exact, and expect the three to sit nearer each other in real life than they look on a screen. If you want the clearly cool option, take Cold Coffee. If you want a warm brown, either of the other two will land in much the same place.
Read this before it goes near your eye
This is an imported cosmetic, and the maker has not published everything a US buyer should have. We would rather say that than paper over it.
There is no ingredient list published for this formula. We do not have one, so we cannot tell you what is in it, and if you have a known cosmetic allergy or reactive skin you should treat that as a reason to be careful. Patch test on the inside of your forearm and leave it a day before you put it near your eye.
The old version of this page described the formula as vegan, cruelty-free and natural. We have taken all three of those off, because we have no certification, no supplier documentation and no testing statement behind any of them - and those are exactly the claims that should not be made on trust. If certification comes through, we will put them back with the certificate named.
Keep it out of the eye itself. Stop using it if the skin around your brow becomes irritated. This is a cosmetic - it does not treat, condition or grow eyebrow hair, and it makes no difference to the hairs underneath it.

Anyone with sparse patches, a thin tail, or a gap where a brow used to be, who wants it filled in a way that reads as hair rather than as makeup - and who would rather spend two minutes than book an appointment.
It is not a semi-permanent treatment and it is not a substitute for one. It washes off, it does nothing to the hairs underneath, and the effect lasts exactly as long as you leave it on.
