Mist you can watch
An ultrasonic diffuser that turns water and a few drops of oil into a fine cool mist, then makes the mist the show: rings of it floating up from the Jellyfish top, or a glowing flame shape rising from the Flame top.
It is sized for a nightstand or a desk. Fill the tank, add oil if you like, press ON, and the light ring and the mist do the rest until the timer ends or the tank runs dry.
Two models
Pick the effect you want to look at
Both models share the same white body, the same three wooden legs, the same buttons, remote and wall adapter. What differs is the top plate, and that decides what the mist does.
Rings of mist
Five crater nozzles on a textured black top puff out round rings of mist that drift upward and slowly break apart, one after another.
Flame-lit mist
A wavy black top releases a soft column of mist and lights it from below, so it flickers like a small flame on the desk.
Same everything else
Choose the model in the buy box. Each one is its own unit with its own top plate, so pick the effect you want to live with.
Aromatherapy
Oil goes straight in the water
There is no separate pad or cartridge. Lift the top, fill the tank, add a few drops of essential oil and the ultrasonic plate carries the scent out with the mist. Rinse the tank when you change scents.
Because it is a cool-mist unit, the water is never heated: no hot surfaces, no steam.
Set-up
Three buttons, and a remote for bed
Fill
Lift the top plate off and pour water into the open tank.
Add oil
A few drops of essential oil, if you want scent. Plain water works too.
Press ON
Choose the 4 h or 8 h timer and the light. The remote does the same from across the room.
What to expect
A bedside diffuser, not a room humidifier
The tank is small and the mist is gentle. It will scent a bedroom or an office and add a little moisture to the air around it, but it is not the appliance to raise the humidity of a whole room, and it needs refilling rather than running for days. Buyers who wanted a decorative diffuser with a night light are happy with it; buyers who wanted a whole-room humidifier are not, and we would rather say that here.
- Turns itself off when dry. The tank empties and the unit stops on its own.
- Quiet. Ultrasonic, so at most a faint hum and the odd gurgle from the tank.
- Wipe, don't soak. Empty the tank and wipe it with a soft cloth about once a week; the base holds the electronics and should not be submerged.
