A high-collar neck guard with a chest and upper-back panel
The collar stands 3.54 in tall and closes at the front with hook-and-loop. Below it, one panel lies over the upper chest, the shoulders and the upper back, held in place by a strap under each arm.
It goes on over a T-shirt or under a jacket. Zipped under a coat, only the collar shows. A small shield-shaped logo patch sits on the chest.
What it is made to resist, and what it is not
Cuts and slashes. The maker layers cut-resistant fiber through the collar and panel and describes the item as cut- and slash-resistant. The maker names cut-test methods but publishes no cut grade, and we have not seen a test report, so no cut level is claimed here.
It is not stab-proof. It is not rated to any stab standard (NIJ 0115 or HOSDB/CAST KR1). A thin or needle-pointed blade, a spike or a razor edge can get through the fabric, and a hard thrust still drives force into the throat where the fabric holds.
It is not body armor. There is no rigid plate and no ballistic rating. It covers the neck, upper chest, shoulders and upper back only; the rest of the body is uncovered.
Check the fit before you order
It comes in one size. The maker lists the collar size as 9.44 to 11.81 in (24 to 30 cm), adjusted by the hook-and-loop front. Buyers of this model elsewhere have reported that the collar would not close on larger necks, so measure around the base of your neck first.
The straps under the arms are fixed, not adjustable.
