The title this product has carried calls it a step stool, and the height is in step-stool territory, so it is worth being plain: we sell it as something to sit on, rest your feet on, and carry things in. It is a single folded panel held in shape by its own geometry. There is no leg lock, no latch and no safety catch, and the feet are smooth plastic rather than rubber.

Use it on level, dry ground. Sit down onto it rather than dropping onto it, and keep your weight over the middle of the seat rather than out on one end. That is ordinary care with a light folding seat, and it is the honest instruction for this one.

• Sit on it. A low perch for a campsite, a touchline, a line at a food truck, a festival, a fishing spot or a shoe rack by the door.
