Cardio you will actually do on a Tuesday
The reason most home cardio equipment ends up as a clothes rail is that using it is a whole decision. You have to change, warm up, commit to twenty minutes. A rebounder is different: it lives in the corner of the room, and you step onto it for four minutes while the kettle boils.
This is a 50-inch hexagonal rebounder with a padded handlebar to hold. The mat is slung on wide elastic webbing rather than steel coil springs, so the bounce is soft and low and it does not clang. When you are finished, the frame folds and stands on its edge in the gap beside the sofa.
Elastic webbing, not steel springs
Look under the edge and there are no coil springs. Wide woven elastic straps loop over the six-sided frame and pull down onto the mat, spaced evenly the whole way round. That is the difference you hear as much as feel: no metallic ring on every landing, which is what makes a rebounder usable in an apartment or early in the morning.
It is also the difference you feel in your knees. The give is longer and softer than a sprung mat, and the movement that suits it is a low bounce with your feet barely leaving the surface, not a leap.
Something to hold while you find your balance
The T-shaped bar is what makes a rebounder approachable if you have not bounced since you were twelve. It sets to six marked heights on the upright post, held by a twist collar you turn by hand, so you can put it where your hands naturally fall rather than stooping to it.
When you want the whole mat to move around on, the bar lifts off the post entirely and the trampoline goes back to being a plain hexagon.
It folds, and it stands on its edge
The frame folds in half and the six legs fold flat against it, so the whole thing leans upright in the gap between a sofa and a wall instead of squatting in the middle of the floor. The legs sit on wide round rubber feet that grip a hard floor rather than skating across it.
What we will not tell you
We are not publishing a weight limit for this trampoline, because we do not have one we can stand behind. The figures that were on this page before contradicted each other, and none of them traced back to a document from the manufacturer. Rather than pick the most flattering one, we have taken all of them off. If a weight limit is what decides this purchase for you - and on a load-bearing product it reasonably might - message us before you order and we will get the manufacturer's figure in writing.
We are also not claiming an age range or that it meets any trampoline safety standard, because we hold no test report for either. The title of this listing mentions children; treat that as a description of who might enjoy it, not as a manufacturer's age rating, and use your own judgment about supervision.
And it does not come with resistance bands. Some pictures of rebounders show cords clipped to the frame; those are a separate accessory and are not in this box.
The details
The two dimensions are the manufacturer's, taken from the dimension drawing supplied with the product. The number of elastic straps is not published here because we have not been able to confirm a count with the manufacturer; the previous figure on this page came from another brand's listing.
Four minutes, in the corner of the room
Not a training program. Just somewhere to move for a few minutes at a time, that does not need a gym bag and does not wake the house.
