One toddler seat that works two ways: a low floor potty first, then a ladder seat on the toilet
The frame folds between two positions. Down low, it is a floor potty with a lift‑out basin and a raised front lip. Opened up, the same seat ring rests on the rim of your toilet and the toddler climbs up a single wide step, holding two loop handles, to sit on a padded ring. When you are done it folds flat and stands against the wall. Three two‑tone colorways: Blue & Yellow, Gray & White, Pink & Purple.
What it actually is
- A floor potty for the first stage. With the frame folded down, the padded seat ring sits low to the floor and a smooth yellow basin drops into it from above. The basin lifts straight out to empty and rinse; it has a raised lip at the front to catch splashes.
- A ladder seat for the second stage. Open the frame and the seat ring rests on the toilet rim while the step and base sit on the floor. The angled extension legs pin into the frame at more than one position so you can set the ladder to suit your toilet's height.
- Two loop handles and one wide step. The handles sit at the toddler's hand height while climbing and stay within reach while sitting. The step has a textured gray pad; the base has a textured tread.
- A padded, wipe‑clean seat ring. The white pad is soft and smooth‑surfaced. The whole seat is hard plastic that wipes down with a damp cloth.
- Folds flat. The folded seat stands upright beside the toilet or slides into a cupboard, and it is light enough to carry in one hand.
How the two positions work
- Floor potty. Frame folded, basin in. Set it on a flat floor. Empty the basin after use, rinse, and drop it back in.
- Ladder seat. Take the basin out, open the frame, and rest the seat ring on the toilet rim with the lid and adult seat raised. Check that the base is flat on the floor and the ring sits level on the rim before the toddler climbs.
- Storage. Fold the frame flat and stand it against the wall, basin inside.

About the weight limit and the age range, honestly. Our supplier has not given us a tested weight rating, and the listings we can find for this seat disagree about the age range. So we do not print a number we cannot stand behind. Treat it as a seat for a toddler in the potty‑training years, and keep an adult within arm's reach every time it is used — on the toilet especially, because a ladder seat is only as steady as the rim it rests on and the floor under it.
Before you buy: three checks
- Your bowl shape. Look down at the rim with the seat up. Round or oval: fine. Square or sharply squared‑off: choose something else.
- Your floor. The base needs to sit flat. A thick bath mat or a sloping wet‑room floor under the ladder is not a good place for it.
- Your toilet's height. The ladder adjusts, but if your toilet is unusually tall or a wall‑hung bowl with nothing underneath, write to us with the rim height before you order.
Looking after it
- Wipe the seat, handles and step with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners on the pad.
- Lift the basin out to empty it, rinse, and dry before it goes back in.
- Check the screws and the leg pins every few weeks; retighten anything that has worked loose.
