Hold your mouse like a handshake
A flat mouse makes you turn your palm face-down to use it. This one stands on its side, so your hand rests upright, the way it does when you shake hands.
Your thumb settles into a scooped thumb rest on the left, your fingers curve over the top onto the click buttons, and the side of your hand rests on the desk. The body tilts at about 58 degrees and flares into a wide foot at the base.
Connection
Bluetooth or USB, and switch with one button
Plug the small USB receiver into a computer, or pair the mouse over Bluetooth. You can keep one device on each and switch between them with the mode button underneath: a green light means the receiver, a blue light means Bluetooth. The receiver is stored under the battery cover when you are not using it.

A jiggler mode that keeps your computer awake
Hold the DPI button for 3 to 5 seconds and the cursor starts making small movements on its own, so your computer does not go to sleep or lock while you step away. Hold the button again to switch it off.
A short press of the same button steps through three tracking speeds: 1000, 1600 and 2400 DPI. The clicks are quiet, and the back and forward side buttons step through web pages on Windows (they do not work on a Mac).
Power
Runs on one AA battery
The mouse takes one AA battery, which is not included. It puts itself to sleep when you stop using it, and the indicator light flashes quickly when the battery needs changing. There is no charging cable to keep track of.
It is shaped for the right hand and suits medium to large hands best. Pick Light Pink, or Sky Blue with orange side buttons.
