A bowl of hot water is cold before you have settled
You boil the kettle, carry the bowl through, sit down — and within a few minutes it has gone tepid. So you get up, top it up, slosh some on the floor, and the one thing you actually wanted, which was to sit still for twenty minutes, is the thing you did not get.
This tub heats the water and then holds it there. You sit down once.
Constant temperature is the whole point
Nearly every complaint people have about home foot spas is the same complaint: it does not stay warm. A basin has no heat source at all. A cheap tub warms the water once and then coasts. This one has a heater and a temperature control, so it brings the water up and keeps it there for the length of the session — and the hinged cover sits over the top while you soak, so the heat stays in the tub instead of steaming off into the room.
Deep enough to reach what actually aches
Most home foot baths are shallow trays. The water covers your toes and stops under your ankle bone, which is exactly where it hurts after a long day standing. This is a deep tub rather than a tray. Filled, the waterline sits above the ankle, and there is room for both feet side by side without one crowding the other.
Bubbles around the ankle, rollers underfoot
Jets send a steady column of bubbles up around the foot and ankle while the moulded rollers and massage nodes in the floor work the sole. That combination is what people are after at the end of a shift on hard floors, after a long run, or after a day in shoes that turned out to be a mistake: heat to loosen, bubbles to soften, pressure underfoot to finish.
How a soak goes
- Fill it unplugged. Carry the water to the tub rather than the tub to the tap, and plug it in once it is standing where you want it.
- Start it warm. It will bring cool water up, but filling from the warm tap gets you soaking sooner.
- Feet in, cover down. Your feet go in under the raised part of the cover, which keeps the heat in and the splashes off the floor.
- Stay in the chair. Nothing needs topping up, so there is no reason to get back up.
- Unplug, then empty. Pour it out, wipe the tub dry and let it air before it goes away.

Choosing between the models
This tub comes in five models, and they are not just colours — the body shape, the control layout and the massage floor differ between them. Each model has its own photograph in the gallery, so open the one you are considering and check that it is the tub you want. If you would like a particular model confirmed before you order, message us and we will check it for you.
Before you use it
Fill and empty it with the unit unplugged, and never lift or drag it while it is full or still plugged in. Keep the outside of the tub and your hands dry when you reach for the controls, and do not use it on broken skin, a fresh blister, a cut or any area that is infected.
If you have diabetes, neuropathy, reduced feeling in your feet, poor circulation, or a foot wound that has not healed, speak to your doctor or podiatrist before using any heated foot bath. Reduced sensation means you may not feel water that is too hot for your skin, and that is the situation in which a warm soak can do harm rather than good.
Frequently asked questions
Does the water really stay hot?
That is what the heater and temperature control are there for. Rather than warming the water once and letting it drift down, the unit holds the temperature for the session, and the cover over the top slows the heat loss further.
Can I fill it from the cold tap?
You can, but it has a whole bath of cold water to bring up and you will be waiting. Most people fill from the warm tap and let the unit hold it there, which is what it is built to do.
Will it fit large feet?
It takes two adult feet side by side and is deep rather than shallow. We have not measured a sample against a specific shoe size, so if your feet are unusually long or wide, message us before you order and we will check the model you are looking at.
Is it noisy?
It is not silent. The bubble pump and the massage motor are both audible while they are running, which is true of every powered foot spa rather than a fault in this one. The heat itself is the quiet part.
Can I add Epsom salts or oils?
Fully dissolved Epsom salts are generally fine. Avoid oils, bath bombs and anything that leaves a film — they work their way into the jets and are miserable to clean out afterwards.
How do I empty and clean it?
Unplug it first, pour the water out, wipe the tub and the cover, then leave it open to dry fully before it is put away. Never submerge the unit or run it under a tap.
What is the difference between the five models?
They differ in body style, control layout and the massage floor. The gallery photograph attached to each model shows that model, so select the one whose picture matches what you want — and ask us if you would like it confirmed first.
Twenty minutes that you actually get to keep
Warm water above the ankle, bubbles moving around it, rollers under the sole, and no reason to get up until you are finished. That is the whole proposition, and the only thing standing between you and it is a tub that stays hot.
