A rechargeable electrical-pulse anti-snoring device, described plainly.
This is a slim, curved black unit worn under the chin and held in place by a black cord that goes behind the head. It has one button, six small blue indicator lights and two round metal contact pads on the side that touches your skin. It charges by USB. The seller describes it as sending gentle electrical pulses to the muscles under the chin while you sleep. It is not a passive fabric chin strap.

In the United States, devices that use electrical stimulation to reduce snoring are regulated by the FDA as medical devices. The electrical stimulation device the FDA has authorized for snoring is a different product: a mouthpiece that stimulates the tongue while you are awake. This unit is an unbranded import, and chigous holds no FDA clearance for it.
It is sold as an anti-snoring sleep aid. We do not claim that it treats, prevents or reduces the risk of sleep apnea or any other medical condition, that it improves oxygen levels, or that it reshapes the jaw, chin or face. Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed. Customer reviews shown on this page are individual opinions, not claims made by chigous.
Loud, regular snoring with pauses in breathing, gasping or daytime sleepiness can be a sign of sleep apnea. If that sounds like you, talk to a doctor before relying on any snoring device.
Safety first
Do not use it if any of these apply.
- A pacemaker, defibrillator or any implanted electronic device. Do not use an electrical stimulation device of any kind.
- Diagnosed or suspected sleep apnea. Follow the treatment your doctor prescribes; this device is not a substitute for it.
- A heart condition, epilepsy or pregnancy. Ask your doctor before any use.
- Swallowing or breathing difficulties, or recent surgery on the neck, throat or jaw. Do not use it.
- Broken, irritated, sunburned or infected skin under the chin. Wait until the skin has healed.
- Anyone under 18. This is an adult device.
Wear the unit under the chin only, never on the front or sides of the neck: electrical stimulation over the neck can cause muscle spasms that affect breathing, heart rhythm or blood pressure. Start at the lowest setting. Stop at once if you feel pain, burning, a sharp prickling sensation or any difficulty breathing, or if redness lasts after use. The included instruction sheet notes that a first-time user may feel tingling, and suggests moisturizer on dry skin.
