LED tracing light pad
Light from underneath, so the lines show through
A thin, USB-powered LED light pad for tracing, sketch transfer and inking. Lay your drawing on the pad, put a clean sheet on top, and follow the lines that show through.
Three brightness levels step up with a tap on the touch button. The board measures 11.8 x 7.9 in (300 x 200 mm) and is 0.14 in (3.5 mm) thin.
How to use it
Plug in, tap, trace
Plug it in
Connect the USB cable to a USB wall charger, a computer or a power bank. A charger is not included and there is no battery.
Set the light
Tap the touch button to switch on and step through the three brightness levels.
Trace
Lay the original on the pad and a clean sheet on top, tape or clip them in place, and draw.
Size
Know the size before you trace
Board
300 x 200 mm. The lit area is a little smaller: the black strip with the touch button runs along one short end.
Thin
3.5 mm thin, so it slides into a folder or a bag with your sketches.
Paper
A4 and US Letter sheets are slightly wider than the pad, so keep the part you are tracing over the lit area.
Specifications
Good to know
- The high setting gives the brightest, most even light. The low setting is softer and can look uneven across the panel.
- Thin paper shows through best. For heavier paper, use the high setting.
- If the panel arrives with a clear protective film, peel it off before use.
- It is an art and craft tool for teens and adults, not a toy. Keep it dry and unplug it when you finish.
