This is a tan Oxford-cloth tool roll with a single row of eight pleated pockets, an elastic band above them to hold long shafts, a fold-over flap to cover the tips, and a webbing strap with a side-release buckle to cinch the roll shut. Open, it lies flat on a bench so every tool is visible at once; rolled, it is a compact bundle that fits a truck door pocket, a motorcycle pannier or a camping box. Sold as one roll or a pair; tools are not included.

What it actually is

• Woven polyester cloth, tan with black edges. The maker lists the material as Oxford cloth, a plain-weave polyester fabric. Every edge is bound in black tape. The maker does not publish a fabric weight or denier, so this page does not quote one.
• Eight pockets in one row. Each pocket is pleated so it opens for a wrench, a screwdriver or a pair of pliers, and the pockets are open at the top. A black elastic band runs across the roll above the pockets to hold long handles against the cloth.
• A fold-over flap. The tan flap above the pockets folds down over the tool tips before you roll, so nothing pokes out of the ends.
• Buckle strap. A black nylon webbing strap with a plastic side-release buckle wraps the rolled bundle. Rolled diameter depends on what you load.
• The maker’s crest is printed on the outside. The outer face carries a small white printed winged emblem with the maker’s name, as shown in the photographs. It is not removable, and the roll is not offered plain.
• One or two. Choose one roll or two rolls in the buy box. Nothing else ships: the wrenches, drivers and pliers in the maker’s photographs are there to show scale and are not included.

Good to know

• It is a roll, not a bag. There is no zip, no hard shell and no padding. The pockets are open at the top, so it is made to be rolled and buckled for carrying, not carried open like a tote.
• Sharp tips wear cloth. Chisels, awls and sharp screwdriver tips will eventually work through any fabric pocket. Cap them or point them into the flap.
• Not rated for rain. Oxford cloth sheds a splash, but the maker makes no water-resistance claim and neither do we. Do not store a wet roll buckled shut.
• Wash by hand. Brush out grit, sponge with mild soap and cool water, and hang it open to dry. Do not machine wash; the buckle and binding will not thank you.
