No measuring distance is published with this rating, by our supplier or by anyone else selling this style of wedge alarm, so there is no way to verify it and we are not going to present it as a tested measurement. Treat 120 dB as the category rating it is.\u003c\/p\u003e\n    \u003cp style=\"font-size:17px;margin:0;\"\u003eWhat we can say honestly is the practical part: it is a piezo siren in a small plastic body, and it is loud in the way a smoke alarm going off in the next room is loud.
