The Insta360 X-series is the awkward one: it has only a tripod thread, and the thread-to-fingers adapter it needs is a separate part you have to buy. A chest mount keeps the camera near your center of gravity instead of on your head, so it moves with your body rather than every time you look sideways — that is a real advantage over a helmet mount, and it is not the same as stabilization.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eIt has no weather rating.\u003c\/strong\u003e Polyester webbing and plastic hardware will get wet without coming to harm, and we hold no water-resistance test data for it.
